Braciola

Braciola

Make braciola with us! We used Agromonte pasta sauce to bring the flavor in this dish to the next level.

Ingredients:

  • At least 40 oz of Agromonte Cherry Tomato Pasta sauce (We used 2 bottles of the roasted garlic.
  • 9 pieces of beef sirloin, sliced thin
  • Italian parsley
  • Finely chopped garlic
  • Parmigiano Reggiano
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butchers twine to tie the beef
  • 1/2 glass of red wine
  • Zahara olive oil (available on our website)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Sauce: Bring the Agromonte pasta sauce to a boil and then keep it at a simmer.

  2. Pour yourself a glass of wine. (This just makes cooking more fun!)

  3. Prepare the Beef: Lay your beef flat and add a little garlic, parsley, Parmigiano Reggiano, salt, and pepper. Roll up each piece and tie it with butchers twine to keep it secure.

  4. Sear the Meat: Add a few tablespoons of Zahara olive oil to a heated pan. Sear the meat on all sides until browned.

  5. Deglaze with Wine: Once seared, add a small amount of red wine to the pan (about half a glass). Let the wine cook down while you enjoy the other half. Cin Cin! 🍷

  6. Simmer: Transfer the meat to the sauce and let it simmer for 2 hours.

  7. Serve: Enjoy your delicious braciola with your favorite pasta or crusty Italian bread.

Buon appetito!
